The terms 'you' or 'your' refer to users and subscribers of the web site. The term 'Artwork' refers to all works displayed on the web site. The term 'customers' refers any person or persons buying artworks from the web site. The term 'Artist(s)' refers to the person or persons selling their artworks on the web site.
By visiting this web site more than once it is assumed you have read these terms and conditions and by continuing to use the site it is assumed that you accept the terms and conditions outlined here. By ordering from the web site you agree to and accept all the terms and conditions outlined here.

Right to Amend Terms and Conditions
Art of Wood Artist Services reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The Terms and Conditions that are displayed on the site at the time you are using it are those which shall apply to you, the changes come into effect when they are posted on the web site. It is advised that you check the Terms and Conditions from time to time. The last date of change will be displayed at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions page.

Art of Wood Artist Services is used by people of all ages and backgrounds and we aim to maintain a web site free from any offensive or illegal content. All artist descriptions, artworks, and accompanying text are subject to approval. owns all content on this site including logos, graphics and text. The copyright of the artwork is retained by the artist. You must not copy or reproduce any part of these images or graphics from this web site.
There are links on this web site to other independent web sites. We cannot be held responsible for any content held on these third party web sites.
Availability
All items shown on the web site are available to our knowledge. The artist must agree to inform us when any changes in availability occur and we will update the web site as soon as possible. All artworks displayed here are also available for sale else ware across the country and as such we cannot guarantee availability. In the event that the artwork you order is no longer available we will offer you either an alternative of the same or greater value, a commission based on the same artwork or a full refund.
Product Descriptions
Art of Wood Artist Services with an accurate description of themselves, their work and any specific artworks displayed on the web site, including medium and dimensions. If customers want any more details about a particular artwork they are free to contact us and we will in turn contact the artist for any additional information. Please note: due to the nature of a computer monitor/screen the artworks colour and appearance may vary slightly from the image on the screen.
Purchases
All purchases made from this web site will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. You must accept these Terms and Conditions before making any purchase from this web site. All prices displayed on the web site are in £ sterling, all prices include VAT where applicable. Credit card details taken on the web site are taken through a secure https server to provide the safest way to shop on the internet. All monies will be held by Art of Wood Artist Services until the customer has decided to keep the artwork and is fully satisfied with their purchase. Before buying an artwork you must add on the cost of shipping, this will be shown as a separate amount on your receipt, and is non-refundable if you decide to return the work for any other reason besides it being damaged. We accept payments on the web site using Visa, Master Card, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro and Solo. We do not currently accept AMEX. Payments by cheque are accepted but the artwork will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. The artwork will be reserved until this time but will be released for sale again if the cheque fails to clear.
Contract
The artworks displayed are an invitation to treat. When you go through our shopping basket requesting to buy an artwork this is taken as an offer to buy. We reserve the right to refuse any offer to buy by a customer. A contract will not be formed until we contact the customer confirming our acceptance of your offer to buy. At this point a binding contract will be formed between us and yourself. Under exceptional circumstances we reserve the right to rescind any contract and will refund any monies taken, putting each party back to the position they were in before the contract was formed.
Delivery
The delivery method and charges are determined by us. It is our responsibility to make sure the artwork is packaged properly and a basic level of insurance is taken out to protect it from loss or damage. We can accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of any artwork in transit. We will dispatch the artwork in a maximum of 7 working days after a sale has been confirmed. All shipping prices shown are for the UK, if you wish to have the artwork delivered to another country we will have to determine how much extra the shipping will be.
Cancellations
If a customer wishes to cancel an order for any reason there will be no charge up until the time the artwork has been dispatched, and a full refund will be made. If the order is cancelled after the goods have been dispatched the customer will be refunded the cost of the artwork. The shipping cost will not be refunded. The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the artwork and ensuring its safety until it is received by us. It is advised to leave the artwork in the packaging it was sent in unless for some reason this is not possible, or the packaging is damaged.
Returns
A customer who has purchased an artwork from us is given seven working days from the date of receipt to decide if they are happy with the artwork. If for any reason you decide not to keep the artwork you can return the artwork for a full refund of the price of the artwork. This does not include the cost of shipping it to you. You are also responsible for the cost and the safe return.
Damaged Goods
Any goods which are received by the customer which is found to be damaged can be returned to us for a full refund. Including all postage and packaging costs. It is our responsibility to make sure the packaging protects the artwork adequately. It is the customer’s responsibility to check all packaging is intact and there is no visible damage to the outside of the packaging before signing for the goods.
Data Protection
All information taken by is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party. We will only use any information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information collected about you includes, name, address, phone number, email address and credit card details. We will retain all information about you on a database, except for credit card information which will be deleted as soon as your card has been debited for security reasons. The information collected will be used to process your order accurately and may be used to inform you of any offers or news from Art of Wood Artist Services. It will not be used to inform you of any offers from any third parties except businesses related to . If you do not wish to hear from us, you will be given the option to unsubscribe from this. You can update any information we hold on you at any time by contacting us with any amendments.
